I wrote this song last summer and pieced a video together a couple weeks ago. A troll even left a comment.
Lyrics:
Rummy, Rice, Wolfie and Cheney
Fingering the strings of a puppet
Sweating with the heat of the summer
Five more dead, but yeah, who's counting?
Crossed all the faithful churches
Guzzling a can of ideals
Betrayed by the leader who led them
Swaggering down the plank
Helicopters
In the desert
Who's your Idol?
Please stop the rain
Chickenhawks walking the golf course
Slaveowners of our age
Order heroes into the quicksand
Justify it all on a lie
But they couldn't find a Florida traitor
To cheat Iraqi problems away
Pound a fist onto the concrete
Coloring red to gray
Helicopters
In the desert
Who's your Idol?
Please stop the rain
Dallas Maverick on the Death Star
Dallas Maverick on the Death Star
Dallas Maverick on the Death Star
Dallas Maverick on the cowards/stand/united/falling Death Star
If you like, it's available for free download.

I also want to pimp an antiwar action for Tuesday. Some of you might have seen my diary yesterday about "Antiwar Tuesday".
If you didn't, here's the idea. On Tuesday, do some kind of individual level antiwar (or impeachment) action -- anything you want, big, small, medium, whatever. THEN POST what you did in the "Antiwar Tuesday participation thread" I'll put up at 7ET/4PT.
Optional: email the link along with a personal note to your congresscritter. If enough people participate, the diary will look kind of like a petition, except the "signatures" will each represent ACTS instead of endorsements.
Are you in?
If there's enough interest, I want to do it weekly, like me and some folks have been doing on Facebook. Not weekly, 'forever,' but weekly until the war ends.
I'll remind you again tomorrow. :-)
